About the festival
Zinda Festival is all about multicultural music, food and art in Bendigo. Zinda celebrates our region’s growing diversity – the cultures that increasingly contribute to the vibrancy of our community. We launched Zinda in March 2018 to resounding success, attracting approximately 4,000 participants – making it the largest multicultural event ever held in Bendigo. Zinda means alive and lively in a number of languages – Dari, Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, Hazaraghi and Urdu. It is therefore a truly multicultural name for our multicultural festival.
Zinda Festival is Bendigo’s multicultural festival (presented by Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services) that celebrates music, dance, food and cultures that contribute to the vibrancy of regional Victoria. This year, the Zinda Festival will be held on Saturday, 12 October 2024, from 11am to 6pm at the Garden for the Future in White Hills.
